Chapter 1: The Burning Castle

“Brevelia. A rebel fortress during the Dark Years, this prosperous village, located in the Blue Hills of Vesma, is most famous for the Brevelia School of Magic, started 53 S.A. by the wizard Alumanthil…”
-- Imperial Almanac, Vol. III

The fortress was on fire. The black smoke partially obscured the vicious wyverns circling overhead. The black-clad warriors had over-run the village and breached the castle’s magical defenses. The sound of battle and death hurtled in the air. In the north tower Drixel had just finished stuffing his backpack with whatever possessions of his he could find. He was a second-year student at the Brevelia School of Magic. Or at least I was, thought Drixel, still disorientated by this surprise attack on the school. It was the last day of school before the summer holidays, but celebration had turned into despair when the dark figures of the wyverns dropped out from the sky. These people were the Blackhand, a ruthless and mysterious organisation, led by Tsangtor, the wickedest Dark magician of the Second Age. As Drixel shot out of the dormitory doors, he almost collided with Viola, a girl in his year, who was clutching her ivory staff. She grabbed Drixel by the crook of his arm and made off for the stairwell. “Professor Hector’s told everyone to evacuate! Let’s move!” she cried as they thundered down the marble stairs. Nice to see you too, he thought. Drixel wondered where his other best friend Alex was. Knowing him, he’s probably decapitating Blackhands, he thought giddily.
As they descended, the yells, shrieks and explosions sounded clearer. When they arrived at the Main Hall, the scene that greeted Drixel’s eyes was one of utter chaos. The students, in their distinctive grey robes, were busy commandeering broomsticks and carpets, fleeing the castle. At the Great Door, the teachers were flinging hex after desperate hex. Taking the lead was a tall, elderly wizard clad in silvery blue – Hercule Hector, the Headmaster.
Without pause, Viola steered Drixel to the back door. From there, they made a dash for the stables, where they found Jeharra anxiously pawing the ground. Jeharra was Viola’s pegasus. After they had both seated themselves, Viola in front and Drixel clutching her waist, Viola dug her heels into her flank. With a shrill neigh, Jeharra broke into a gallop and then leaped into the sky. Just as it seemed that she was going to succumb to gravity, she unfolded her wings and powered her way into the sky. I’ll never get used to this, contemplated Drixel.
Viola expertly steered the pegasus, but the wyverns had spotted them. Some of the Blackhands gave chase and let loose a volley of arrows. Jeharra nimbly dodged them, but one of them sank into Viola’s arm. She shrieked in pain and Drixel quickly took the reins as Viola’s arm began oozing blood. Viola bit her lip, clasped the arrow stem and gave it a mighty wrench. As the arrowhead emerged, even more blood gushed out. Viola had gone pale and seemed ready to faint. “I…just have to…reach…,” she muttered, but before she could finish speaking she began to sway, almost unconscious. “No, Vi,” said Drixel, “I’ll get us out of here!” But Viola had swayed just too far and before Drixel could grasp her firmly she had toppled over the right. Drixel lunged for the hem of her robe, but was left fisting the air. He considered diving for her but then he saw the gruesome wyverns closing in. “I’m sorry,” Drixel whispered, and dug his heels into Jeharra to make her go faster. Warm tears ran down his clenched face.
Drixel’s heart was hammering as he raced the wyverns. I think I’m going to puke. He looked back and was surprised to find only one Blackhand following. This one felt different: the man gave off that distinctive aura of magic. This scared Drixel more than anything else: who knew what perverse forms of magic Tsangtor taught his minions?
Overhead, the sky abruptly darkened. Drixel could almost tangibly feel magical energy accumulate. A flash of blue lightning struck Jeharra’s rump. Jeharra neighed in pain as a raw, red welt appeared in the snow-white fur. Again and again the spell was cast, until Jeharra, foaming at the mouth, stopped obeying Drixel. They began careening wildly to the forest floor. “No Jeharra, don’t give up now!” screamed Drixel hoarsely; and then they tumbled into the trees. The tall pines of Brevelia forest hemmed them in. Finally, Jeharra landed heavily in a little clearing. She tottered for some time before crumpling on the soft grass, down for the count, blood dripping from her nostrils. Drixel had been tossed off by the impact and was lying on the ground. A branch had whipped Drixel’s forehead and he was sure a few ribs were kaput. As he blinked through the blinding blood, he saw the wyvern land. He again felt the warrior’s magic. The tall, strapping figure knelt next to him. Desperate, Drixel tried to use a defensive magical shot, trying to hurl him away. He wasn’t surprised when a magical shield formed around the man. The figure cocked its head, as if amused. Then, he slowly took off his helmet. The long blond hair was tangled and matted, covering the handsome, charming, boyish face Drixel and many other students loved. It was Alex. Drixel felt his mouth dry up. His head was reeling. “Does this surprise you, Drixy old boy?” said Alex. “It doesn’t surprise me, I always told you, you could use more practice on the pegasi. Anyway” – and here he bent closer – “you shouldn’t be too worried about your precious Viola. I’m sure my friends are …ah… familiarizing themselves with her. I really don’t have time to chat. Tsangtor expects me soon,” said Alex. He got up and summoned a spear from his mount. Twirling it expertly, he plunged the spear violently into Drixel’s abdomen and said, “And that’s for trying to hex a friend,” he whispered, a mad gleam in his eye.
As the wyvern’s flapping grew faint, Drixel found his vision blurring. Careful not to choke on his own blood, he painfully turned sideways. I’ll get you for that, he thought; and then he fainted.

g

The air whipped past Viola. Every sense seemed magnified as the ground rushed up to meet her. Wait, that’s not ground, that’s the lake! It lay at the edge of the school campus, and was sparkling in the somnolent afternoon sunshine.
The splash drenched her loose-fitting robes: they now threatened to drag her down. Dark against the puffy white clouds, the wyvern-riders watched as she struggled again and again to stay on the surface. It was only after they had left, satisfied that the girl would drown, did Viola slowly swim to the shore. There she lay gasping amid the weeds. She had lost her wand, but at least she was alive. Her injured arm was on fire. She reached into her robes for the numerary – a healing potion— that she had pocketed before searching for Drixel. Drixel! I hope he’s okay, Viola thought. After swallowing the red medicine she felt the pain lift. She sat up and swung her arm. It was as good as new. Quickly discarding her sodden outer robes, she took stock of the situation. She could see the castle spires, not yet engulfed in the inferno that was consuming the rest of the edifice. Brushing her tangled mop of black hair out of her face, Viola decided to skirt the campus and join the road that ran from Brevelia village to Finistar, some hundred miles away.
She had been walking for a few minutes when the sound of crashing trees startled her. Through the foliage, she saw Professor Hector battle a half-dozen Blackhands. She also saw some wyvern corpses. Tsangtor’s air force was grounded. Hector had driven them from the University and was in the process of finishing them off. Viola was amazed at how rapidly his staff-hand moved. He looked utterly relaxed, but each spell shot out with potent force. His very aura lifted Viola’s spirit. Where there had been six there was now one. With a last twist of his wand he turned the last man into stone. The poor man dropped, perfectly immobile, onto the needle-strewn ground. “Ah, Ms Ismaire, so good of you to join me!” he exclaimed, giving the half-hidden Viola an impish smile. “Out of uniform? I shall have to take away that gold star from yesterday…” It was the adrenaline talking. Before he could conclude his prolonged salutation, however, a new figure emerged. He was dressed like the other Blackhands, with flowing black robes, wicked steel armor engraved with the spider seal, and a helmet that covered his face. But he exuded a magical vibe. Hector tried to make a move. Before he could, the man raised his palm and Hector fell to the floor, his chest spouting blood. “NO!” screamed Viola as she summoned her inner magic and tried to create a snowstorm, hoping that the ensuing blizzard would give her enough time to think up a stronger spell; but the Blackhand created a fireball and flung it at Viola, singeing her as she dived out of harm’s way. “Amusing,” said the figure, “I always knew you were a wildcat, Viola.”
“How do you know me, Blackguard?” said Viola more bravely than she felt.
“Can’t you guess? Let me enlighten you.” Saying this, the man flung off his helmet. It was Alex, of course. He wore a devilish smile that she had never seen before. Viola felt her world rock and she stumbled to the ground. “Yeah baby, it’s me.” Slowly approaching the now crouching Viola, he brushed her pale face with his glove. She flinched. Anger swelled up inside her and she shrieked with rage as she threw her magical force into Alex. It dissipated harmlessly against the magical shield Alex conjured up. “Bad girl,” he whispered and cruelly slapped Viola across the face. “Now stay there. I have business with Hercule there.” Still smiling, he started for Hector, who was now desperately trying to crawl towards Viola. “Geez, that old man is so pathetic. As if a silly girl like you could protect him,” Alex said scornfully. But now Viola too reached for Hector. As soon their fingers touched, the Provost winked and then Viola felt strangely tingly, as if her whole body was being sifted through a fine sieve. They were teleporting! “What? NO!!” screamed Alex. But it was too late. They had already left him far behind.
My magic will last till Finistar; it will be up to you from there. It was Hector, communicating telepathically. To Viola it seemed that the two of them were encased in a bubble, while all around them the scenery changed and distorted rapidly. Teleportation: a Gift very few could master.
They arrived at the outskirts of Finistar and Viola could smell the sea. In the distance were a few ramshackle huts. She held the Professor’s head in her arms and suddenly, she wished she hadn’t taken all of the numerary.
Hector scrabbled beneath his collar and took out a medallion from around his neck. He pushed it into her hands. It was actually a gold ring hanging from a chain. Between great gasps, Hector said, “Take this…to Relian…Promise me…” All Viola could think about was getting even with Alex. It was more than a question of honour. She had cared deeply for the man who was about to die in her arms. She also had enough sense to recognize an incurable spell, and didn’t waste time on empty words of hope.
“No one must know of this,” he continued, eyes wide and fearful. Viola had never seen the professor act this way. Viola pocketed the medallion and held his hand. “I promise,” she replied, not fully understanding what this was all about. A smile appeared on the lined face, and then the wizard went limp. He was dead. At that moment, Viola felt like the loneliest person in the world. This jolly old man had been the life force of the University. He had been more like a doting grandfather that a teacher. She swore her revenge.
Viola stood up and started yelling, “Help! Somebody help! HELP!” Through the tears, she saw someone emerge from one of the huts.

g

When Drixel awoke, he found himself lying in a strange bed. His head had a patch on it and gently ached. He remembered the spear and quickly reached down to his midriff. It was heavily bandaged, but did not hurt. Miraculously, his broken ribs seemed whole again. Drixel sat up and drank in his surroundings. The room was small and had plain but cozy furnishings; the mahogany beams overhead, the understated elegance of the furnishings, and the thickness of his quilt were all indications of a gentleman-farmer’s cottage. Through the net curtains to his right, buttery sunlight revealed a beautiful country garden, and ripe fields of rye beyond that.
A refreshing breeze twisted in and made a bamboo wind chime tinkle. At this, Drixel caught a movement to his left, and found a tiny pixie-woman, about as tall as his palm, staring up at him from the roughly hewn wooden chair she had been dozing in. The pixie extended her dragonfly wings and began to hover at eye-level. “Oh, you’re finally awake!” she said, speaking in a shrill, warbling voice. “My name’s Mercy. Please wait, I’ll call someone.” Without waiting for a reply, she disappeared through the door near Drixel’s feet. Her wings made a pleasant buzzing noise as she flew. Some muffled conversation drafted in, and in a moment the pixie called Mercy reappeared at the doorway with a young girl. She looked around sixteen and had red hair in a ponytail that gelled well with her immaculately clean farmer-girl apron. A pleasant grin emerged on her face as she said, “I knew you’d come around sooner or later. Mercy was so worried that you wouldn’t make it. Xaioyu’s my name. You’re from Brevelia aren’t you? You were in a terrible state when we found you—you’ve been asleep for two days!” Two days! Drixel knew he should be thankful he was still alive, but all he could think about was Viola. She had fallen into the lake, but was she still alive? Or had she been murdered by the Blackhand? That last thought was too horrifying for him. He broke from his thoughts when he realized that Xaioyu was waiting for some species of response. For a moment, Drixel was lost. Then he remembered his manners and said, “I’m Drixel Emm. Where is this place?”
“This is the village of Crossbone. This is my father’s house but he’s out right now. We found you in the forest nearby, and thought you were dead. Goddess be praised, you’ve managed to pull through. It was all due to Mercy’s healing powers”—and here the diminutive pixie blushed—“You must be weak, please don’t strain yourself,” said Xaioyu as she wedged in an extra pillow behind Drixel’s shoulders. As she spoke, she flitted about the room, never at rest. She came to the doorway and said, “You should stay here for a few more days, and then you’ll be well enough to ride to Finistar. After that you’ll know what’s up. News is rather thin in these parts.” But Drixel’s mind was already made up, and started to get out of bed. Before Xaioyu could contradict him, he assured her that he was perfectly fine and that it was imperative that he get to Finistar immediately. “If you’re really up to it, I’ll ask father; meanwhile you can come into the kitchen—you must be starved,” she said.
Xaioyu gave him some of her father’s things to wear. They were too big for him, but he managed. After Drixel had suitably replenished himself with a cold ham sandwich and a glass of fresh cow-milk, Xaioyu took him to see Jeharra. She was buried at the base of a broad oak tree. “I’m sorry we couldn’t save her. She was just beyond help. I’ve kept a few feathers for you to remember her by,” said Xaioyu. Drixel felt cheerless because he knew that Viola’s most prized possession had been Jeharra.
The oak was set in a clearing which overlooked the village of Crossbone. It looked like a thoroughly no-nonsense agricultural town. Reminds me of home, thought Drixel. To the south, fields of golden harvest stretched till the horizon; to the north were the forested hills where Brevelia lay and where Xaioyu has first noticed a wyvern chasing a pegasus. If she hadn’t been out hunting rabbits that afternoon, Drixel would probably have died a painful and lonely death.
Crossbone had about twenty families. They were mostly labourers on Xaioyu’s father’s farm. When they met Drixel, they were quite awed and kept their heads bowed; wizards were rare in this rustic spot.
Returning to the cottage after their jaunt, Drixel found a tall, thickset man of about forty waiting for them in the sitting room. “Daddy!” exclaimed Xaioyu and flung her arms around the gruff man. His rather violent beard tickled her and he set her down. He turned to Drixel and offered his hand. “I’m Jasket, good to see that you’re up and about.” Over dinner, he agreed to let Drixel go tomorrow. He could travel with the local carts travelling to Finistar to deliver the farm produce. The only one upset by this was Xaioyu: she had wanted Drixel to herself for a few days more.
As Xaioyu led him back to the bedroom, she surprised Drixel by asking, “Who’s Viola, by the way?” Drixel stopped walking, mouth slightly open. “Sorry, it’s none of my business,” she continued, blushing after an awkward pause, “but you whispered her name a few times when you were unconscious.”
“She…was a friend in Brevelia.”
“Was?” replied Xaioyu perplexed. She gazed at Drixel’s face for a moment and turned to leave.

Chapter 2: Things get complicated

The water surrounded her, threatening to drag her down into the unknown, lightless depths. She struggled against the weight of the water, tore with her fingernails; but she kept sinking, and her lungs filled with the salty taste of tears…
Viola Ismaire awoke with a start. Her nightclothes were moist with her sweat, and she was shivering in the warm summer night. It was two days since the attack on Brevelia, and for two nights now, she had been haunted by the same dream. While her ragged breath gradually returned to normal, Viola’s thoughts went back to past events. Hector was dead, Drixel was dead. Two days of waiting had throttled any glimmering hopes she had had of Drixel surviving.
She had, however, kept her promise to Hector. No-one knew of that mysterious ring he had given her, and which was now safe (at least for the moment) in the lowest drawer of her dressing table. She had told the police about Alex though, as well as how Hector had died. Viola got off her bed and sauntered to the large bay window that looked out onto the port of Finistar. The sky was still deep blue for the most part, but a thin strip of violet on the horizon told her that it was nearly dawn. From her second-floor room, Viola had quite a good view of the harbour. Even at this odd hour, the port was a hive of activity, with the white sails of the trading ships shining faintly against the dark waves. In the distance, Viola could see the spires of the city temple. Hector’s funeral would take place there, in another two days’ time. Heaving a despondent sigh, she decided to start dressing for the morning.
As Viola brushed her long black tresses, her pale grey eyes fell on the almost-healed scar on her cheek, and she thought of Alex—since when had he been Tsangtor’s servant? She remembered all the times he had embraced her as a friend, or taken her arm during the college dances: now, each of those casual contacts seemed a poisonous barb, making her unclean, tainted. Had no-one, not even Hector, guessed at his true identity? Was Tsangtor’s magic really that powerful? And who on earth was this “Relian” that she was supposed to give the ring to? Viola’s mind was as mystified as when the city police had asked her their questions. After the police had questioned her, she had observed the ring. It was made of some hard silvery substance Viola couldn’t identify. The stone glowed red, and gave off a faint magical sensation. Viola thought of the tearful, hysterical wails of the mothers and fathers she had seen that day, waiting for their beloved son or daughter to return from Brevelia. Surprisingly, most had survived, even the teachers. Apparently, Alex had not massacred them when Hector escaped his clutches. The capital was rife with gossip and rumours, some even foretelling the eventual rise of the Dark One, who had been Tsangtor’s overlord in days long past. This attack is a clear indication of the increasing power of the Blackhand, said the citizens.
Viola chose an uncomplicated red-and-silver dress she could put on without her maid’s help, and matched it with a hair clasp of silver filigree. Giving herself a last look-over, Viola walked out of her bedroom and made for her father’s library. Who was Relian, anyway?
So engrossed in her thoughts was she that she failed to spot the translucent ghost-like creature hovering outside her window eaves, peering into her room.

g

A brilliantly bright day; all around, the bleak dunes of a desert hummed as the wind blew in from the north; but it was a malevolent squall, and on its wings rode Evil.
Drixel Emm awoke with a start. He tried to grasp the details of his dream, but it was like trying to clasp a palmful of water. It slithered into the forgotten crevices of his brain, and he couldn’t reach into them. Shrugging off his drowsiness, Drixel flung on his shirt and trousers and went into the garden. It was just dawn, and a pleasant chill still clung to the air. No one seemed awake. The house was built on a ridge overlooking the countryside, and the corn glowed orange in the new day. Drixel took a desultory walk in the garden, arranging his thoughts of the past twenty-four hours, and slowly ambled toward the edge of the garden. A large pond occupied the south-eastern corner, and from it came the muffled sound of splashing. He slowly parted the tall reeds that enveloped the pond and found Xaioyu bathing.
She was humming quietly to herself, and Drixel couldn’t help noticing her attractive figure. But as she turned her back toward him, a chill ran down his spine. Covering much of the back was a tattoo of a spider, head downward. It was the Tsangtorean seal, itself adopted from the image of Dark One, who had terrorised the land in spider form for a thousand years and who had ultimately been captured two centuries ago. Tsangtor, who had been her lieutenant, now styled himself the new Dark Lord. Why on earth would Xaioyu have the tattoo? Unless—and here Drixel took a sharp breath—she was a member of the Blackhand. At this moment Xaioyu whipped her head around and caught Drixel’s face. She was silent for a full minute and then began to speak slowly, “You must think I am Tsangtor’s minion. But nothing could be farther from the truth. You see, I am a Cursed Child. Yes, that’s right: those who lose their souls to Tsangtor when they die. You know the story.”
Indeed, Drixel did know it. About twenty years ago, a band of Vesma’s greatest warriors waged a vain war against Tsangtor. Although they won, Tsangtor left a curse on them before fleeing—that they and their progeny would serve him for all eternity. They did not understand the curse at the time, and had children. It was later that the true nature of the curse was discovered: when they died, their souls were not received by the Goddess, but wandered the land until they found their master Tsangtor, and did his bidding. Thus they serve him for eternity. Drixel had studied it as a fine example of perma-curses, but he had never expected to meet one of the Cursed Children in real life. He sat at the edge of the pond and said, “I thought you were banished from Vesma?”
“We have, nearly. My father went into hiding after I was born. My mom died giving birth to me. We have been living here in secret for the past fifteen years. The villagers don’t know about us, and it’s better that way.” Xaioyu finished drying herself and began dressing. She suddenly beamed and said gaily, “But we all have to live, don’t we, somehow? So don’t go about feeling sad for me, you hear? I’m a match and more for you!” She winked at Drixel and called out to Mercy. Unnoticed by Drixel, the little pixie had been watching the whole affair, perched precariously on one of the reeds. Now, she buzzed toward Xaioyu and gave Drixel a sad smile.
“You should bathe too, it will take us two days to reach Finistar,” said Xaioyu over her shoulder, before she left for the house.

g

“Imperial Almanac Volume XX” was printed in gold letters on the leather-bound book Viola now had open on the small writing desk in her father’s library, with a candelabra placed near. Revolution of 122…Reformationist Movement…Regency Act…but there was no “Relian”. Where it ought to have been was an entry on Relianzadi:

“Relianzadi. Queen of the elves since 0 S.A. The widow of King Alaquizadi, she has opened her lands to trade with humans.”

Viola wondered if this could be the “Relian” Hector had mentioned. If so, things were getting far more complicated than she had expected. No doubt, the ring was some arcane magical artefact; this was what Alex had been after…is after. Viola decided to keep it on her person from now on.
Before Viola could do anything else, someone in the dark said, “What are you doing here?” This caused her to jump out of her seat. Whoever was in the dark started laughing gently and came nearer. It was Viola’s brother Cello. “What are you doing?” he asked again, with a puzzled smile on his face. To avenge her fright she replied, “I could ask you the same question. Don’t you usually take breakfast at around noon?”
“I am afraid, my dear little sister, that we have been called to arms” said Cello, planting his customary morning kiss on her cheek. “As men of the 25th Royal Cavalry, it is my job to deal with this new attack by the Blackhand.”
“Really?” said Viola incredulously. “I used to think your “job” was to booze and schmooze!”
This light-hearted banter masked both siblings’ worries. When the summons had come yesterday morning, the entire household was devastated. Who knew how powerful the Blackhand truly were? Their mother had tried to pretend everything was alright by acting extra-sunny. The 5th Baron Ismaire had simply looked grumpier than ever.
“I was just reading up on professor Hector,” Viola lied, “he was a great man.” In truth, Viola already knew more about that man than she wanted to. For one thing, he had some sort of secret agreement with the Elf Queen.
“I came in because I thought you were hunting for your birthday presents!” said Cello, as he sat down on a comfortable armchair. Viola audibly groaned. She had completely forgotten that her birthday was just three days away
Viola was quick to recover: “Better not be a doll like last time!”
“It was a voodoo doll, Vi, from one of the desert tribes of Archalia.”
Viola pretended not to hear that. She had more important things to consider, like how to reason with dad that it is perfectly normal for a teenaged girl like me to seek out an elven peer group. She needed to plan her journey to the elven lands carefully. They were known for their secrecy, and their suspicion of humans.
This worry had obviously showed, because Cello asked her if anything was the matter. “Oh no, I was just thinking I need a break from the city, go to the countryside.”
“Excellent idea! Why don’t you run it over dad later? You know he can never deny you anything for your birthday.” Without waiting for a response, Cello made for the door. “I’d better go; don’t want to be late for the inspection.” Viola spun him lightly by his shoulder, and hugged him with all her strength. Although she often ridiculed Cello for his laziness, he was her pride and her strength. Some rich nobles paid for their sons’ induction into the royal cavalry, but Baron Ismaire had made sure that his only son got in on sheer merit. “Don’t get soft, kiddo, and keep your nose clean,” Cello said with all the bravado that came naturally to a strapping 25-year-old. “You too,” was all Viola could answer, her cheek pressed against his chest. “Take good care of them”, he said, “them” of course meaning their parents. “Look, I hate goodbyes, so I’ll just leave now. Besides, I might be back in a few days, who knows!” As he quietly let himself out of the teak front doors, Viola felt so miserable she couldn’t help herself:
“It was SO NOT a voodoo doll!” she shouted out after him, laughing and crying at the same time. A few moments later, the hoof-beats were gone.
Upstairs, the Cursed Child, now shimmering faintly pink in the rising sun, waited patiently for Viola to return.

Koyoki: And, there’s nothing weird about your MAR dreams?
Ginta: You said you believed them.
Koyoki: (Exuding her charming vibes as always) Of course I do silly!

Koyoki>> The topper in Kamahachi high. A CHARMING lady with irresistible persona
And a brilliant cook with magic in her finger tips, the only one who seems to believe in Ginta’s story.

This is how the story flowed for our hero until…..the 21st of December had arrived, the very day when 6 yrs ago Ginta’s dad had left him. Christmas was slowly approaching….

Akt 3>>

Playground>>

Come to me. I have all the answers you seek Ginta. There are ways one can live their fantasies and I shall open the world you seek……..

Koyoki: Hey Ginta are you having those dreams again.
Ginta: Huh!! Oh sorry! I can’t tell Koyoki I’m hearing voices this time. She’ll forget the last bit of sanity I have and that girl worries too much.
Nah! Nothing. I kinda dozed off.
Koyoki: Ok! But try to keep your senses intact.

Come to me Ginta. I’ll reveal the meanings of your dreams. They are not dreams but reality. Truths to which u must succumb for u have been chosen. Help to restore this world from chaos….

Ginta: Whoever this is cut it out. (SCREAMING)
Koyoki: Are u sure you don’t want the nurse.
Ginta: I’ll be back. I need to relax a bit.

Ginta don’t deny your nemesis. I call u. This world needs u. MAR heaven needs u….

Ginta had a wild feeling this was not a dream. He wasn’t hallucinating it. Someone was in deep trouble and wanted to tell him something. Allowing his third eye to feel the depths of his mind. He felt the voice again. This time his heart paced as he neared the library. Was someone guiding him? Was he meant to take this risk or did the voice belong to his conscience?? As Ginta plunged into the pummels of his mind he saw an image. His father had his hands outstretched and he had the most pleasing smiles on his face….

Akt 4>>

In the library>>

Ginta: Does this place look a bit different today? Anyways I don’t linger here too much to figure out the difference.
So, Mr. voice in my mind stop freaking me out and show yourself.

Ginta reach out to me. You must come but are you ready to take this burden for Mar Heaven is a land of no return….

Some of the book kept in neat stacks collapsed realizing columns of thick dust. The library suddenly seemed unkept hiding one of the ancient secrets of life. Ginta approached the sudden created mess. He bent down to take a closer look. On the floor a book as big as his atlas lay open with letters in golden to which he was very familiar.
Ginta dusted the book and closed it to see the cover of the velvet like item.
And on top of the book…..The word…..MAR……was carefully engraved…

Ginta saw what the book was hiding. Behind rows of uninteresting Biology and History books there was a small golden statue of a man wearing a black and white circ in shackles. He was standing on a crystal podium reeked by vines and poisonous bushed. And behind the prisoner was an almost invisible bronze doorway with an arch surrounding it. It was locked... by a seal.
Ginta had seen these things in his dreams---ARMS was what they were known as. Visions of people in accoutrements with such ARMS battling filled his mind. He saw his father fighting ruthlessly. And like a living zombie he emerged… the one they called “Phantom”. He had an Arm in his hand and he swung it nonchalantly. The battle raged. He fell, his father fell but the Arms were smeared with blood… tools of war for killing.

Ginta snapped out of his trans and found himself touching the cold skin of the statue with wild conviction. The voice called out to him again. But this time not in his mind. An aura enshrined the ARM and a tone floated like a phantasm in the room…

Ginta are you confused? Are you questioning the existence of Mar heaven. Pray do not for they are true. But Mar is not the peaceful world you imagine. Don’t you want to know why you and your dad have this similar dream again and again? It’s linked and that is why I summon you. Are you ready for there is no turning back.

Ginta: I am ready for this is my task.

A swirling portal appeared while dazzling coruscates shimmered. As Ginta was sucked into the turbulent mass of void a cruel laughter froze his blood and the words ricochet in his ears>>> There is no turning back….

Akt 5>>

Bright light was enough to bring back all of Ginta’s lost senses. As his eyelids became used to the harsh light Ginta woke up to find himself lying in a heap of stones and as he remembered the bitter truth that he had a huge ugly bump on his head….

Ginta: Ouch! Where am I ? and why am I crouched down in a heap of otherworldly shit. Man I hate girls. I’m sure Koyoki is behind this.

….Yup u guessed it right TYPICAL ASSHOLE GINTA.

Ginta: Weird I thought I was in the library and some dumb filthy lame books fell off and then… there was something called ARMS and I got sucked inside…
Then Ginta took a moment to look around and the truth dawned on him. The moron was in the lands of his dream and he was not the only one who had swapped places. It seemed that his clothes were different too. In place of his dorky school uniform he was wearing a tight black vest and off-white battle tunics. He had a headgear on and his glasses has miraculously vanished.

Ginta: Uh! HuH! Whose the man, I’m the man. I’m a cool dude. I look great and hot. HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!
(Seeing that his hysterical laughter drove some queer birds away) Aside: Am I a geek in Mar Heaven too.

Ginta couldn’t help noticing a rocky cave some yards away.
Ginta: If this is Mar Heaven, then let the tour of MAR begin…

Akt 6>>

In the cave>>>

Ginta: Man this place is hot or what! I’m panting like a dog. Hey isn’t this the same rock I saw at least 20 times.
After a while>> Hey isn’t this the mark I left so that I don’t get lost.
I’m doomed. I am lost….

A voice: Brr!.... Mama I hope….. there is some hot chick waiting for me in…. this cave. I just wish I get…. to meet another one of those…. beauties from…. the neighboring village in here….. TEE… HEE… HEE!

2nd Voice: KAPOW! Wham ! Oh I’m…. done with this sucking guardian ARM. Which…. loser put this thing…. here. Now I just need… to find a gullible victim…

Ginta: (Literary freaked to here whispering voices): Whoever is there surrender.

Voice: Well! Well! Well what have I found here.
And then Ginta screams as a rough man’s hand almost tries to rip of his buttocks.
Voice: Hey this is not a babe!
Ginta: Shove of Homo. And what the Heck are you doing. Do I look like a chicky bitch to u.
Voice: Hey bro chill. Sorry me name iss Jack, people call me Jack on the bean stalk. I was here…
2nd Voice: Let me complete rest of the story.
A slender female body emerged out of the cave entrance.
I am Dorothy a witch by creed and a warrior by profession. I had this moronic farm boy dig the cave entrance for me so that I could get err! Something I need.

Jack>> Age 14+ A poor village farm boy who was left by his father long ago and lives with his mother, a seller of cure herbs. ARM>> Shining shovel>> left by his father when he was pretty young.

Dorothy>>Age- Late teens. A sexy voluptuous witch who likes braiding her hair. She is crazy about cute boys and wears a long black circ. Dorothy keeps herself mysterious and likes collecting ARMS.

Ginta: and what is this something?
Dorothy: (her eyes narrowed) Have u heard…. About AR….ARMS.
Ginta: ARMS??? (sounding as if he was pretty amused)
Dorothy: What kind of a dunghole would ask such a question??Ginta: Well sorry to interrupt u but I kinda landed here just now. I am…err!... from a…. err!.... different world.

Dorothy>> Can it be? Is it him? Has boss’s reincarnation finally arrived????

Akt 7>>

Walking in the cave>>>

Dorothy: Oh! Ginta you are so cute and handsome. HEE HEE HEE!
Ginta: (Aside to Jack): Hey wasn’t she a little bit cold a second ago.
Jack: She’s got beans for brains and pumpkins for boobs.
Dorothy: (Almost Pulverizing Jack by kicking him on the floor)>> Oh! Ginta don’t mind him. He is such a bozo.

Jack: (Bleeding to death)>> you made your point Dorothy.
Talking about beans do u know what these are?
Showing some round green beans to Ginta…
Ginta: Nope!
Jack: These are Nono beans. My family grows them. It has the ability to grow into huge bean stalks within some second if sowed into the earth.
Ginta: Hey Jack what’s that hanging down your trousers.
Jack: Oh that is my ARM>>shimmering shovel. Fancy name for a worthless tool. It’s a powerless ARM, not one of those Mar fighters usually use. The only thing this thing can do is dig earth… lots of it. Don’t know why dad left me this. Ma says I should treasure it. Stupid thing. So Ginta how come u don’t have an ARM.

Dorothy: Stop irritating my Ginti baby.
Dorothy stops and closes her eyes.
I sense one of those lousy guardian arms approaching. Better be careful.
Jack: Aiyaa! Why didn’t my dad leave me something better than a dumb shovel…(whining) .

As soon as Dorothy moves closer to the caves rocky fork way. A metal contraption like animal enters the cave. Jack faints at its sight while Ginta moves backwards until he faces nothing but the cave’s barren walls.
Dorothy: (a cold smile curled on her lips) Another one of those Mettaloids.
Dorothy carefully touches the pendant around her neck.
Guardian beast Tyrona > I summon thee.
A giant figure of a glowing two headed lion emerges.
Tyrona: Yes mistress order thee.
Dorothy: Eat it up my beloved ARM.

As Ginta looked upon Dorothy in horror her beast devoured even the last morsel of its enemy’s flesh and gave a groan of satisfaction….
Dorothy faced Ginta and Ginta saw Dorothy’s actual face in her lifeless face. First time since he had met her did Ginta realize that---EVERY WOMAN HAS TWO FACES…..

Akt 8>>

Dorothy: So Ginta tell me how did u turn up in MAR..
Ginta: Don’t know. I had dreams about this place for almost my entire life and then it was an ARM… yeah it was one of those weapons. It spoke to me and then I appeared here.
Jack: U telling me that some ARM in your world summoned u. Wait a sec! I’ve heard tales like this. They call this the Gate Keepers clown. A powerful transportation ARM. But… does… ARM’s operate without a master?
Dorothy: Things are not same in MAR heaven anymore. It seems that someone used this arm to summon u. But why? Does this mean another war will strike MAR and this kid is actually a reincarnation of B…
Jack: (Aside to Ginta) Her speaking to herself thing sometime freaks me out.
Dorothy: Hush! We near it. I can sense it…
Jack: U know Dorothy taking someone’s arm is stealing.
Dorothy: Yeah! And why don’t I stuff your shovel down your throat.
Jack: Gulp!

Within the depths of the room lay a rotten casket exuding the smell of darkness and long lost secrets. Dorothy senses the powerful seal that surrounds it but her greed was unsupressable

Dorothy: the moment of truce finally arrives.
Dorothy takes out a blade and by a swift movement of her hand the casket shatters into pieces. Inside the casket rolled in a mauve threshed cushion was a long flail (a kind of mace which has a sharp hammer for a base and a round iron ball linked in a long silver chain)

Dorothy: If he is the chosen one…. Ginti baby why don’t u pick it up for me. U don’t want an elegant woman to do such a menial job do u?
Ginta: Sure Dori if that’s what u want.
Ginta picks up the flail and feels the level of his stamina increase. As if he was born anew like a phoenix from its ashes.

Ginta: Man this thing is light.
Dorothy: (smiles) So he wields the ARM that stirred the bloods of immortals. Ginta take care of this ARM, it choose u. Take care of Baboa…
And then Dorothy vanished in flashes…

Akt 9>>

Still in the cave>>>

Jack: Huh! What the hell just happened?
Ginta: HA! HA! HA! Did that witch just called this ugly thing BABAO…………….

….Who is ugly?????....
Ginta: stop it Jack. U can’t scare me with those freaky voices.
Jack: Excuse me! Who is supposed to be freaky here….
….U morons can’t u realize I’m the one who talks to u???....
Ginta: Come on Jack u can stop being so uncouth.
….I’m a gentleman to your kind information….

Jack took some energy to bent his neck in a twisted way to see if…
Jack had noticed this a bit before and had fainted (typical Jack).
The arm that Dorothy had given Ginta suddenly grew two big illuminating eyes, a long unbent nose and big chisel shaped moustache.

Ginta: Hey am I supposed to play cups and balls with this creepy thing.
Ginta starts dribbling the iron ball on the hammers blunt end.
ARM: Ouch u dung brain that’s my head.
Ginta: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
ARM: Hiya! Mate my name is Baboa and I’m your ARM.
Jack: Man this cursed thing talks, Soooooooooooooooo cool! Why couldn’t my dad leave me something like this (Moan! Sob!)
Ginta: God damn aren’t Arms supposed to be weapons? BRAINLESS THINGS!
Baboa: So I am supposed to be the only ARM with a brain? How unfortunate.
Jack: I guess your big bald round head is supposed to carry a brain…
Ginta: Jack I think Baboa heard that.
Baboa: WHAT DID U SAY????????????? Monkey boy.
Jack: at least I’m not an orbal metal BALL.
Ginta: So Baboa you don’t remember anything from your past.
Baboa: Nothing much… just foggy memories of stripping gals….
Ginta: Ahem! Ahem! So Jack without Dorothy to guide us it’s all up to u. Where shall we go now?
Jack: I guess the town nearest to us now is Andeline, the town of waterfalls.
Ginta: God knows what’s in store for me. First ending up in MAR and then meeting up with a brainless….
Baboa: WHO IS BRAINLESS u JACKASS (special emphasis on the jackass part>>> requested by Baboa)

STAR OF VOL 1: Baboa>> Darkness arm suffering from acute memory loss.
It does not remember much from its past (Ahem! Ahem!)
But gracefully acknowledges Ginta as it’s new master.

MAR
Marchen Awakens Romance

Volume 2>> Search for Snow.
Akt 1>>

Andeline, town of the waterfalls. In front of a market selling powerless ARMS.

Shopkeeper: Move people move my Arms are not common men’s goods. Buy or go. Staring costs u money.

Jack: Hee! Hee! I’ll try trading this worthless Arm for something useful.
Yo! Ginta why don’t ya take a look around and meanwhile I can… Um!... get rid of some… Hee Hee!
Baboa: That boy’s up to something.
Ginta: Nod! Nod! (Perv style)
Baboa: I don’t even want to know what he is thinking.
Ginta: Ok! Seeya Jack. We meet an hour later at the…. Um!.. inn.

Jack moves forward to the talk while one of the biggest shops in Andeline having huge hoardings claiming up to 60% discount on Arms attracted Ginta’s attention.

Jack: Yo! Old man do u have something that I can trade for this shovel.
The man carefully examines the ARM as well as Jack and decides to make his move. Poor boy, he ruminates can fool him like hell…
Shopkeeper: This old man at your service is known as Eduardo. Sir, How about I show you something good. Like, the “Wandling Coo coo”. It gives u the most accurate time u can ever expect. Or maybe “Baloney Spooney”, the spoon that makes eating a delight.
Jack: Cut this crap old man. Don’t ya have something that can talk, has brains… A moustache will do.
Eduardo: Creep! Creep! (Background sounds)
Meanwhile in the other Arm shop>>>

Ginta: well Baboa I guess there isn’t anything worth buying since I have u.
Baboa: Blush!
The shopkeeper girl: Hello! I’m Arina how may I help u?
Ginta gets all weird and nerdy.
Baboa: Don’t get any ideas Ginta?
Ginta: (Suddenly notices something and stops in horror) : Isn’t that…. The …. “Gatekeeper Clown”
Arina: (suspiciously) U have a good knowledge of Arms.
Ginta: How much does that thing cost.
Arina: Sorry sir! That’s an antique. It does not fall under the discount sales. But if u want it…
Ginta: How about a 1000 yen.
Arina: What’s yen.. Are you taking me for a fool? We only accept cash here. This thing costs nothing less than 10 Mar dollars.
Ginta: Huh Huh! This is my lucky break. I can bag this baby so cheap.
Baboa: Sorry to interrupt Ginta. But after I accepted u I seem to know so much about your world… Earth. And if I’m not mistaken 1 Mar dollar is 10,000 yen.
Ginta: So 10 mar dollar costs….. Gulp!
Can u keep this thing for me. I’ll buy later.
Arina: (retort) maybe you could buy one if that stupid pet dog stops yapping.
Baboa: Who are u calling a dog u…
Arina: (Dumbstruck) is that an ARM and did it just TALK! (Alarmed).
And then she fell unconscious.

Akt 2>>

Back at the inn>>
Ginta: what’s taking Jack so long?
Baboa: (drunk) There comees our kiing…
Jack: (Looks like he’s being drugged): Guess where the townsfolk send me. To the doctor. They thought I’m mad, he thought I’m mad and they paid me money.
Baboa: Hurray!!! Hiccup!
Jack: DO I LOOK PROUD??????????? Sob! Sob! Sob!

…Open up….Knock!...Knock!
Bartender: whose that??
…Open up Ol’ hag or the ruffian brothers will crush your skull.

The bartender carefully opens the door. Three punks enter the scenario, each carrying slender but stylish Arms in their hand.

1st Guy: U know me don’t u Simon. I want me usual please. My name is Gruff.
2nd Guy: An me names Assi.
3rd guy: Sees (snakish tongue) my introduction>> hose.

Gruff>> Age 18+ Leader of the Ruffian brothers. Agile amongst the three and yields the ice ARM Icy gust.
Assi>> Age 30+ Big ogre like brute whose strength is his might. Has dung for brains (That’s why he was named Ass-i) . Largest amongst the three brothers and uses strength enhancing Arms that look like rings.
Hose>> Tall and slender hose always wears a pantyhose around his face like a veil. Age unknown. Arms Unknown.

Gruff: Hey Assi, hose doesn’t that boys Arm looks like the one Alen told us about. So after so many days of pondering we finally find it. Pay day is soon enough. This will be like taking a candy from a baby…

Assi: Hi! Friend. Can I see your little talking ARM.
Baboa: They don’t look so good, Ginta. Better think before u take some kinda step.
Ginta: sure mister. Here’s it. Isn’t he a babe.
Baboa: Sheesh! That’s all for thinking twice.
As soon as Ginta hands them Baboa Gruff takes out his Arm shaped like a sword and shouts>>> Icy Gust. A momentary ice wave crashes the neatly kept furnitures around them. And the ruffian brothers choose this deception as their scapegoat.
Ginta: Oh no. Baboa. I’m coming friend.
Jack: Oh no! I dropped my drink.

Akt 3>>

After chasing the Ruffian brothers for about an hr Jack, Ginta and the brothers meet a dead end. The waterfall behind creates a mood full of tension while Gruff swings Baboa around his wrist to torment Ginta. Is this an indication for a battle lets find out…

At the Andeline Waterfalls>>>

Gruff: Icy Gust…

…Unfortunately it is…So let the battles begin…
CRASH!

Ginta: Hey no fair. I don’t have any ARM to…
BOOM!
Where the hell is Jack when you need him. Oh I forgot he fainted when he tripped on that boulder while running.

Meanwhile a teenager looks intently into the fight as his pet fairy flutters elegantly around him, from behind some trees.

Bela: Hey Alviss shouldn’t we interfere now?...
Alviss: I have been watching him closely for sometimes Bela. Let’s wait a little longer to find out if the boy I choose to fight the Chess Pieces. The one I summoned here as the incarnation of Boss. The one the Gatekeeper Clown choose is worthy to fight for Mar. Let’s watch a little longer, Shall we!

Akt 4>>

Adenine waterfalls>>>

Gruff: Here kid take this. Gruff tosses Baboa back towards Ginta casually.
Let’s see why Alen wants this baby so badly.
Ginta: Morons. They were fools to give back Baboa to me. Oh! Wait I DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE BABOA….
Baboa: Who’s the moron Ginta?
Gruff: Icy Gust.
Ginta: Oof! Just managed to dodge that blow.
Gruff: U won’t be lucky anymore kid. Assi, Hose get him.
Jack: Not if I can stop it.
Ginta: No Jack! Keep out of…
Gruff: Icy gust.
Jack: Ahhhhhhhhh!
Ginta: Oh! well I warned him.
Gruff: Let’s get over with this brat. The Chess pieces will pay me big when I give them that talking ARM.
Ginta: I don’t know what crap u are talking about but here goes nothing. Aside: Pssst! Hey Baboa how do I use you.
Baboa: Why don’t u put your brain together and think of something?
Don’t u remember I am supposed to have amnesia?
Ginta grips the Baboa’s hammer base tightly and tosses his iron ball HEAD as hard as he could towards Gruff.

Gruff: what a loser. How can he possibly attack me from that far away?
Assi: Yo Gruff luk out.
Hose: Gruff move.
Gruff: Huh!
Gruff dodges the blow somehow and falls on his face on the ground but his two teammates were badly injured by the blow.
Gruff: What the hell just happened?
Ginta: Unbelievable.
Jack: (Oops! Sorry no dialogues for him. He is unconscious this moment)
Assi: Uh! Somehow that Arms chain extended.
Hose: and the size of the iron ball also doubled.
Ginta: Did I just do that. How could a weakling like me have such high stamina and strength?
Baboa: Maybe that’s because u come from another world Ginta. Mar heaven’s gravity must be quite less compared to… Earth. This boosts your feats and your skills help u to harness my powers.
Gruff: U hurt my brothers. That’s it u die.

Alviss: Enough is enough. Totem pole….
Huge metallic carved poles in the shape of Totems rise from the ground. The disturbance causes a sudden landslide that creates a living grave for the Ruffian brothers.

Alviss>>> Age 17+. Alviss is a proficient ARM wielder. But a fatal curse by the Chess piece night—Phantom, the living zombie 6 yrs ago during the 1st mar Wars has pummeled his life into doom. Alviss had taken the responsibility to call on an outworlder to take the reigns of saving Mar into his own hands and he chooses GINTA... He uses different strength increasing arms, teleportation arms and his favorite the TOTEM’S POLE.

Bela: Alviss calm down.
Jack: (Oh yeah he woke up a minute ago) How dare you interrupt this battle.
Alviss: Battle? U weaklings, was that even a duel. U got your ass kicked and almost got yourselves killed.
Ginta: That’s none of your beeswax.
Alviss: Darkness cage.
Alviss uses an Arm. Jack gets trapped in it and turns into a ….. CHICKEN. Chicken????
Its better he stops interrupting our conversation.
Ginta: Hey? U better turn Jack back to normal, or I’ll……
Alviss: So u have a voice. Poor Ginta, bullied indifferently by boys and… girls in your world… earth and now false strength overwhelms u. How could the Gatekeeper’s clown choose u as the incarnation of…. BOSS? How can u save Mar heaven, u untrained dog.
Ginta: So it was u. U called me. You summoned me into mar heaven.
Alviss: I was bestowed the task to summon a worthy outwardly and I failed. This is who I summoned? A meager kid of 14.
Ginta: What is this task u are talking about so frequently?
Alviss: Then listen to the sad tale of MAR…..
Mar heaven was always a peaceful place where all lived in harmony until dark and Powerful ARM wielder who regarded themselves above than normal flocked together to form the heinous “CHESS PIECES”. They called themselves so as they were divided into ranks as on the chess board according to their dark abilities.
Their leader chosen among the many knights was Phantom, the living Zombie as he never dies, lives on forever without happiness in his life because he was curse like I am by the…. Zombie Tattoo. The pieces wanted to take over Mar Heaven but that is when Boss appeared. He was an outworlder like u, much more worthy of this title called upon by Alan the great hero of mar back then when I was an infant. 6 yrs ago the 1st mar battle had started. It raged on. Boss formed an anti-chess piece team of brave and valiant soldiers the Cross Guards, anyone who hated the pieces trooped to join him in his struggle. Many people were killed. Blood pools flooded Mar. Phantom fell, the Chess pieces were destroyed but so was Boss. While Boss took his last breath all knew this day will dawn again for Phantom has no end he is the living ZOMBIE.
Every second I spend cursing my last few years and questioning your inferiority the chess Pieces rise again for they await for the phantom’s resurrection…. And It Is Near………………………………………………………………………………..

First time since Ginta had arrived in Mar did he realize the perilous journey he must cover. Ginta understood the graveness in his duty. He looked down. He was ashamed that he was weak but he would definitely become STRONGER.

Ginta: But wasn’t Phantom dead?
Alviss: Yes, but unfortunately when you broke Baboa’s seal, Phantom’s seal also broke….. For they are linked.
Ginta: So Alviss why are these chess pieces after Baboa.
Alviss: Don’t u get it Ginta? Every body seeks u and your life. Baboa is…. the…. Dark….. Weapon that Phantom Carried, the weapon that instigated the 1st mar wars the weapon that killed Boss…
Baboa: No! How can I have such a bloody past?
Alviss: That’s because after phantom fell Alan, our hero after mighty Boss sealed u away in a cave and sealed your memories so that u cannot repeat the bloody acts u had committed on millions of innocent people.
Ginta: Alviss I shall not fail u. I will train and become strong… like…Boss. But what shall I do now.
Alviss: Ginta look on the side of Baboa’s head…. Did you find four stone holes?
Ginta: Nod!
Alviss: (smiling) Find Alan. He is still alive probably a wanderer without any signs of formal glory. He secures the four magical stones that can be used to harness Baboa’s true power. Find him. My job here is done. If the God’s guide u well u will meet Alan and he shall continue his training. But I’ll be there when u need me….. Bye Ginta, Ginta the outworlder.

Ginta hadn’t felt so much determination and passion burn in him EVER….

Akt 5>>

Castle of Lestava>>>Burial Grounds>>

Queen: Is everything done…
Locius: Yes Queen Diana. The resurrection will take place soon. The ceremony begins shortly.
Toma: Man Queen is s sexy. Her nipples are poking out. Why the hell does she wear that ugly veil?
Queen: Toma did you know my arm lets me read others minds?
Toma: Gulp!

Kingsley: Queen the sacrifice has been made. The pieces have taken their oath. Only his return keeps everyone waiting.
Queen: Excellent. When he comes give him my message.
Kingsley: As you wish highness.

Within the burial grounds stood many Arm wielders. Chess Pieces. They have gathered to witness the great revive of the living Zombie and to start the race of time all over again. But this time no boss shall take the chance of bringing Mar heaven under their control. A great fire burnt in the centre of the grave and at intervals the pieces joined together in an uproar, chanting words only known to them. Nothing happened for a very long time until suddenly the ground tremored and a rotten hand emerged out of mother earth’s breasts… and the pieces greeted their lord.

Queen Diana>> Age 37+. A dark mystifying warrior herself Queen Diana is Queen in class. She likes fiddling with curses and always drapes herself with costly jewelries. She rules Lestava the most powerful area in Mar on the behalf of her sick husband. She seeks to kill her step daughter for unknown reasons.

Phantom>>> Age unknown. Leader of the chess pieces, knight is his class. Arm>> Unknown. Earlier used Baboa for dueling and had been inflicted with the rebirth curse, Zombie tattoo.

Kinsley: Fetch some clothes for our Lord. My Lord accept your seat.
Pano: Oh my God! He looks so cute and manly when he is naked. Rippling muscles, curvy abs, nice big juicy dic…
Alifia: Pano stop fantasizing.
Phantom: …Have the Queen’s wish taken care of…
Kingsley: Pardon lord!
Phantom: The girl… Kingsley. Have u forgotten about our heir to Lestava.
Alen: I and Loco have taken care of that my Lord.
Loco: We will shortly visit our little princess.
Phantom: ….Excellent…..

Akt 6>>

Still near the Andeline falls>>>

Jack: Ginta u dumbo wake up. U’ve gotta see this.
Jack notices Ginta and Baboa sleeping and talking in their sleep.
Ginta: Mommy please don’t spank me….
Baboa: Ladies I understand your eagerness but I have only one body.
Jack: I don’t even wan’t to know what they are dreaming.
Ginta: Yawwn! Sheesh I was having such an awesome dream.
Baboa: So much for determination.
Jack: I went collecting firewood and found a dead dog lying on the ground.
Ginta: Wheee! That’s such a great news. YOU IDIOT U WOKE ME UP FOR THIS?
Jack: (pointing) it’s over there. Let’s go see its dead body.
Baboa: Nutcase.
They travel a bit deep into the forest and see the dog lying on the bare grass.
Jack: poke! Poke! This is so fun.
Ginta: Wheee!
Baboa: U IGNORANT BASTARD THAT THING IS ALIVE! IT JUST PASSED OUT.
Ginta: And Baboa calls himself a gentleman.

Back at the camp the dog wakes up and almost eats up Ginta’s whole food stock in order to rejuvenate.

Jack: Why are we helping this glutton?
Baboa: Now, Now Jack be a little more considerate.
Ginta: That thing ate up my entire lunch. By the way Baboa it ate up your food too.
Baboa: What???????????????? Boo Hoo Hoo.
Dog: Thank you very much. U are very kind. My names Edward and I have come here crossing great seas and oceans in order to seek help.
Ginta: A DOG THAT TALKS? Can Mar get any weirder?
Jack: Wheee! A talking canine.
Baboa: Sob! Sob! Any way Edward why don’t u enlighten us with your story.
Edward: Well it all started….
Baboa: Dogs are very bad at understanding sarcasm.
Edward: ….after the 1st mar war 6 yrs ago. My master, the king of Lestava lost his dear wife. He was left with his only child princess SNOW.
Jack: What! U mean to say u are the pet dog of the king of the Lestava, the huge island lying in the centre of Mar Heaven. Isn’t Lestava Dynasty the original rulers of almost the whole of Mar?
Edward: Nod! Nod! By the way I would prefer to be called the Royal Guardian and not a mere PET DOG.
Anyways as I was saying, after the former queen died I was given the charge of mistress snow. The king remarried and this time he brought a cruel and ruthless woman as his wife and she tortured poor mistress snow. The king fell ill and Queen… Diana exploited this beautiful situation to take over Lestava. Then Snow and I made our move. We escaped and fled from one city to another with the queen’s men in our pursuit. We had nothing to protect ourselves except for the ice ARM and Guardian Arm: Yuki that mistress snow had inherited from her mother.
Jack: Pssst! Hey Ginta Snow seems to be a babe.
Ginta: Let’s just concentrate on the story.
Edward: But we were ultimately captured by the…. Chess Pieces.
Ginta: What does the Chess Pieces gotta do with Snow?
Jack: So the rumors that Lestava castle is the new Chess Piece head quarters is true! That makes the Pieces allies of this Queen Diana.
Edward: Exactly. But, my mistress never gives up. She sealed herself in an old castle near Andeline isle. More like she thawed herself so that those wretched Pieces cannot take her back. But I escaped and my princess’s last words to me were--------Edward please get help…..

Ginta: Don’t worry Edward I’ll help u. Wow my first mission as the savior of MAR.
Jack: So what are we waiting for?
Baboa: Let’s go.

Edward>>> Age (do dog’s grow old?). The royal guardian of the Lestava princess, Snow. Talks and eats simultaneously and seems to be the only dog that talks and wears glasses. He is wise but falling asleep seems to be impossible for him although he can pass out when he is very afraid.
Or, maybe a little afraid.

Akt 7>>>

Outside the gates of Wilingili castle, located on the Andeline coast.

Ginta had set out in the morning and by noon fall they had reached the castle. The Castle was crystallized in ice like a shining prism. The journey seemed futile as there was no entry except for a window located on a sublime tower.

Ginta: How are we supposed to enter the castle u moronic cur?
Edward: Don’t worry sire I have a solution to that!
Edward takes out a long blade carved like a falchion.
Meet the flame ARM Apollo’s seif. It produces enough flame to melt down ice as strong as steel. But it can be use only two more time.
Jack: talk dog! Where did u get that thing? Probably stolen.
Edward: Nope Princess Snow got it from a small ARM selling shop in Andeline owned by an old man called Eduardo for free.
Jack: What? That old man couldn’t show me anything more than a cuckoo clock and a spoon to eat with. Curse my luck. Boo Hoo Hoo! Sob!
Edward: Anyway Princess Snow gave it to me before she froze herself saying that only this was strong enough to melt her ice.
Ginta: So what are we waiting for let’s get in.

…..They approach….
……..Oh! They are in for a big surprise………….

Inside Wilingili castle>>>

Every inch of the castle is frozen and frequent noises are stirring up Ginta’s blood. He feels they are not alone. Maybe this will be his first encounter with the CHESS PIECES………….

Ginta: Did u just hear those noises, Jack.
Jack: mommy help me.
Baboa: Freak show.
A voice: …..Die Ginta outworlder……..
Before Ginta could react to the sudden assault. A woman flings herself into the battle riding on a golden lion.

Akt 8>>

Near Wilingili castle main hall>>

Ginta couldn’t trust his eyes. He grinned and his hopes rose up because he had seen.

….Dorothy….

Dorothy: Hey Ginti baby. Haven’t seen u for sometime. Kiss! Kiss! Mwah! Mwah! Smooch!
Ginta: Yo Dori how’s life. What have u been doing all this time?
Dorothy: Nothing much, just what we withes are best at fighting and collecting ARMS.
Baboa: More like stealing ARMS.
Dorothy: Oh it’s sweetie Baboa. U look so strong.
Baboa: Oh! Stop being so modest! Blush!
Jack: Sheesh! Baboa you are such a two timer.
Dorothy: And oh it’s monkey boy. Hadn’t noticed u back there behind good looking people.
Jack: Grumble!
Dorothy: And who might this sweety pie be? (Pointing towards Edward).
Edward: She called me a sweety pie> (Blush)
Jack: That woman will chase any thing in the world except me.
Ginta tells Dorothy everything that happened to them after she had given him Baboa and exactly how the met Edward neglecting the frequent interruptions the others were causing to correct some details especially some stupid exaggeration by Ginta like>>> It was Ginta who saved Alviss from the Ruffian brothers and how he asked out Arina, the shopkeeper girl from Andeline who was dying to bed him etc.

Dorothy: Nice story u got there Ginta. So gear up guys, we have a princess to rescue.
Ginta: (Sees the grand door) so snow is behind that thing. Here goes nothing. Bump (Ginta smashes against the door)
Owww! My ears bleeding.
Dorothy: Baby are u alright?
Baboa: Just stick your fingers in your ears.
Jack: Wow! This is so cool!
Edward: (his jaws dropping off) These People are INSANE……..

Akt 9>>

Inside the great hall>>>

It was a huge hall but destroyed furnitures were signs of its glorious battle days and corroded days indicated its age. The floor was sparkling because of the ice and two chess pieces were standing isolated guarding a huge block of uncanny snow in which a beautiful girl was trapped her eyes close….

Alen: Let’s test this new outworlder’s strength. Heard he is only a small boy. I’ll finish him before he knows it.
Loco: U can rest while I kill him.
Alen: Why don’t u suck a candy and I’ll engage a battle with him after all you are not even younger than him mistress Loco.
Loco: How dare u speak to your elder like that?
Alen: Yeah right! U look like a kid of 5 yourself. Elder….my foot.

Alen>>> Age 21+ Member of the chess piece. Class Rook. He is not one of the favorites in the gang and not one of the most powerful but is skillful in handling his ARM, the Python Lash.

Loco>>> Age 35+ Member of the chess pieces. Class bishop. She stares blankly at people to assess their darkness strength and so she was used to divide the Pieces into different classes. Her Darkness Arm, Fate of the VOODO is a powerful ARM but while using this ARM losing to an opponent results in a decline in her age. Her present Age>> 10+.

The door creaks and with a deadly impact the hall door cracks open and Ginta enters the room followed by his friends.

Ginta: You cowards leave Snow now.
Edward: Oh no mistress Snow!
Alen: Why don’t we keep a bet? U win u take her and u lose she dies.
Jack: Yeah right u have to kill me and Dorothy before u can harm her.
Loco: Dorothy who?
Ginta: Aaaaaaaaaaaah! Dorothy, that bitch she disappeared. Why does she always vanish when we need her?
Edward: We have no other chance. Ginta u must hit me hard on the head so that I pass out.
Ginta: Poor dog has become paranoid.
Edward: No time for jokes Ginta. Hit ME…… NOW.
Ginta: As u wish….. BAM! KAPOW! CRASH…..Hey Jack join me with your shovel. This is fun.
Jack: Gladly. Man this dog is tough cookie. It does not pass out that easily.
Loco: amusing.

….Make your move Alen….
Alen: Is that u…..Halloween. Don’t let the dog pass out. That dog is actually……
Alen: What? But how do u know?
…..Because I put the curse on him…..

A blinding light captures Alen and Loco’s attention. Ginta and Jack are dumbfounded and so are the chess pieces for in front of them there was no dog but a tall man stood, a cigar in his mouth, hands in his pocket and scars on his face.

Meanwhile outside the castle>>>

Dorothy: So the hero finally shows himself. Welcome back. Sorry Ginta couldn’t help u. I got specific orders. A lady awaits me and I am ordered to execute her….

Meanwhile far away Alviss feels the presence of the Hero>>

Alviss: Finally back. I was looking forward to this.
….Excuse me lady want to go out on a date…..
Arina: Sure handsome. Just let me close my shop.
Bela: Hmph!

Akt 10>>

Back in Wilingili Main hall>>>

Loco: No way that God damn dog was actually….
Alen: Alan… He is alive. (Did u notice that Alen and Alan are almost namesakes)

Alan>>> Age 46+ He is the famous hero who fought beside Boss in the 1st Mar wars. He is an excellent duelist and his Ring shaped Arms allows him to use spiritual attacks via his palm. Alan is a big flirt and was cursed by one of the chess pieces >>>Halloween which locked his body in Snow’s Dog Edward. He was responsible for sealing Baboa and he had summoned Boss to Mar heaven 6 yrs ago.

Man: Hi Ginta! I never revealed my true form to you when u said u wanted to meet me. I’m Alan.
Ginta: Hey where did the talking dog go?
Jack: Were u in Edward’s belly?
Alan: U whores weren’t u listening to me. I am cursed with the dog’s body. (I nap thrice and transform into Edward and the dog has to nap once to change into me and THAT STUPID DOG NEVER PASSES OUT! How unfair! Boo Hoo Hoo!
Ginta: Hey Alan will u train me how to fight.

Alen: Stop it. Weren’t we supposed to have a fight?
Loco: How pathetic!
Alan: How about we make this a bit more interesting. I take on u both.
Alan tosses Ginta the Apollo’s seif.
Ginta I’ll hold these fools back while u try to get Snow free.
Ginta: Nod! Sounds like a good idea to me.
Jack: You are so brave Ginta.
Ginta: Actually I want to skip dueling because I can’t use Baboa. And also because I want to get a little closer to Snow.
Baboa and Ginta: How pathetic!

Ginta escapes Alen and Loco’s eyes and runs for Snow while the battle between the ARM wielders start.

Act 11>>

Wilingili castle>>

Alan: A rook won’t be too hard to defeat. (Smirk)
Alen: Don’t get too relaxed. Python slash.
Long metallic elastic rods come out of Alen’s cloak having tapering ends. Alen uses the ones on his right to uplift himself off the floor and he shoots the others like tentacles toward Alan.
Alan dodges the blow but manages t o catch one of the tentacles and forces Alen off balance. He used spiritual energy to land safely and then accumulating high energy Alan created a shield around himself and drew more magic blasting Alen back towards the wall.

Meanwhile Ginta trying to rescue Snow>>

Ginta: This is the first time I’ve seen snow so close. Is it because….
Ginta touches Snow’s ice covering and a warmth flows through his body. Suddenly miraculously Snow’s eyes open….she had tenderness in her eyes and the smile on her lips were soothing.

Ginta: ………Koyoki……….
Snow: Help me Ginta.
Ginta: How do you know my name?
Snow: I don’t know? But it feels like I know u for many years.
It was then that Ginta noticed the resemblance Snow had with Koyoki. The same look, same persona, same charm and the same understanding in her eyes
Ginta: That’s it I’m getting u out of here. Apollo’s seif direct me…
Ginta’s rage surfaced into the seif and turned into furious flames. Snow’s shield melted away and she fell on the ground her body soaking in water. The Apollo’s seif crumbled to dust. And then Snow woke up, looked up at Ginta and then….THEIR LIPS MET.

Ginta: Aaaaaah! U evil girl get of me.
Jack: Ooh! I envy Ginta. He’s so lucky. He got his first kiss.
Alan: How dare u Ginta. How dare u touch the sweet lips of my mistress?
Baboa: Hey Alan quit behaving like Edward. U are not the dog now remember?
Snow: Hey Ally (Alan) how was my first kiss. I hope it wasn’t too flashy and dramatic.
Ginta: This girl is twisted and demented. She behaved like she needed help and then she jumps on me when I’m not looking.

………………..GINTA…………………..
Ginta: Who the hell is that?
Dorothy: (furious) How dare u play with my love and romance other girls when we are supposed to be dedicated to our relationship.
Ginta: what rubbish are u saying woman? U are at least 40 yrs older than me.
Snow: Yeah! You tell him Ginta. Ginta likes young blood, don’t u piggychops?
Ginta: I don’t even know u.
Jack: Dorothy is so shameless. She betrays us when we need her and she turns up when her Ginti baby is being molested. What the hell does Ginta have better than me?
Dorothy: Brain and looks Monkey boy.

Snow>>Age 14+ She is the actual heir to Lestava. She is a cute tomboyish girl who resembles Koyoki and so appeals a lot to Ginta. She is really skilled in using Ice Arms and her guardian she calls Yuki. She has a bad habit of getting DRUNK.

Meanwhile on Earth>>>

Koyoki visits Nodoka, Ginta’s mom.
Nodoka: It’s been a week. Where are u Ginta?
Koyoki: Don’t worry Mrs. Kozabura. Ginta is safe. He is in a place called Mar heaven.
Nodoka: Don’t tell me Koyoki that a sweet girl like u believes in those bullshit Ginta and his dad used to talk about. For Heaven’s sake it’s fairy tale. Made up stuff.
Koyoki: No maam they are not imaginary. I dream about them every time I go to sleep. I remember every detail clearly, vividly. In Mar I’m a…princess called….Snow. I was captured but Ginta saves me and you will be really happy to know that Ginta looks really handsome there and I look ravishing myself, except for the fact that I SO DO NOT HAVE TINY BREASTS (Snow seriously needs a boob job)
Nodoka: You have a nice imagination Koyoki but I still wonder how a geek like Ginta got u as a girlfriend. (Grinning)
Koyoki: And guess what…..?
Nodoka: What?
Koyoki: I just got my first KISS.

Akt 12>>>

Wilingili fortress>>>
Loco: Morons. I can utilize this little glitch. Darkness pall.
Dorothy: Loco u bitch. Ginti baby look out.
Ginta: Baboa help….
Loco: Satisfaction.
Snow: Yuki…. Release a web of protections.
Snow summons her snow Guardian Arm Yuki. 5 huge Snowmen form from the ice around and guard Ginta from the blow.

….Loco, Alen return….phantom has new orders for u….

Loco: Weaklings. Sionara suckers. U live this time but not any more.
Alen uses his transportation arm and both he and Loco disappears.

Ginta: Thanks a lot Snow.
Dorothy: Hmph! My woman’s intuition says she is going to be a big trouble in our relationship.
Ginta: you mad woman we don’t have any relationship.
Jack: Hey look Snow has fainted.
Baboa: But she still smiles.
Alan: I guess it strained her to summon Yuki.
Ginta: Sleep well….Snow….Koyoki.

Star of Vol 2>>Bela>> the haughty fairy that Alviss carries around as his
Counselor. She is about the size of a normal human palm and carries a small stick around to threaten people. She can also get abusive at times.

MAR
Marchen Awakens Romance

Vol 3>> War declared
Akt 1>>

A restaurant in Aven, a small seaside town>>>

Snow: Hick! Man this root beer tastes too good. Hick!
Alan: Who let mistress Snow DRINK? Mistress please keep down that goblet. Aaaaaah! It’s a goblet full of Alcohol.
Snow: Hick! Stop acting like a grandpa Alan.
Ginta: Snow is such a shameless girl.
Jack: Shameless to the core. First I carry her fat ass to this town and then she calls me a monkey and asks me to have a banana when I ask her for some rum. Grumble! Grumble! (Sometimes I feel people exploit me)
Dorothy: Duh!
Alan: Let’s celebrate our victory tonight.
Baboa: THAT WASN’T A VICTORY. THEY LET US WIN.
Alan: You are right “Oh! Round one…”
Baboa: Who are u calling round.
Ginta: Hey Alan is everyone in Mar heaven belong to the chess pieces someway or the other.
Alan: Nope! There are actually four divisions. The chess pieces, the anti Chess pieces i.e. the cross guards, soldiers previously formed by Boss.
Snow: Hick! Then there are those dumb Luberian pirates or something like that and common people who don’t meddle into others affairs.
Ginta: Sometimes this Boss guy reminds me of my dad. So how was this boss?
Alan: Oh! He was so jovial, so wonderful. He continuously cracked jokes and said funny anecdotes of how he used to hustle his wife. But he was a brave fighter and admired by all. His death was sad…
A long silence followed…
Ginta: so when do we start training?
Alan: Wait a sec! Before I take u into my hands I need to know if u know what ARMS are…
Ginta: Duh! They are… Um! ... Agh! ... Let me think of a good way to express this.
Alan: Hopeless.
Snow: Hick! Why don’t I give u a brief description? There are many types of Arms. Nature Arms increase and boost strength and stamina like Strength enhancing ARMS. Elemental arms are for using respective elemental attacks. Transportation arms transport u from I dimension to another place or dimension like the gatekeeper Clown.
Darkness Arms are powerful but will inflict a curse if u lose to an opponent. Holy arms can heal, cure curses more like an antidote to Dark Arms. Guardian Arms act like shields but disadvantages using them is that u must be within a small radius around your guardian ARM…Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!
Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! To infinity.
Ginta: Brief she said! Hmph!
Jack: So Snow there are different categories of Arms.
Snow: Yup:
Ginta: And there are some weird Arms that can’t be categorized.
Baboa: And why exactly are u looking at me???????????
Alan: (trying to stop Snow) the point is that u must use Baboa very carefully because nobody knows what kind of curses it can inflict on its user because Phantom never lost using Baboa. Here take these…. Alan hands four crimson magical stones to Ginta…
Put them on Baboa and meet me outside. You’ll be starting your training today itself.
Jack: Hey did you guys notice that Snow’s hiccups stopped because she spoke so much of garbage very fast??
Snow: Monkey boy.
Alan: Why don’t u join us in our training Jack? U could do some training yourself.
Jack: But?
Alan: Your shovel has more potential than u ever imagined. Did u ever notice there is a magical hole on your shovel too just like Baboa’s.
Jack notices the hole in astonishment.
That means it has got magical abilities.
Jack: really? Thank goodness I did not trade this thing.
Dorothy: Don’t get yourself killed Jack (smiling)
Alan: Oh! Don’t worry Dorothy u will be accompanying Jack in his training….. And Snow will help Ginta.
Dorothy: No fair. She gets Ginti baby and I get this uncouth primate.
Snow: Yeah! Hick! (Not the hiccup problem again)
Ginta & Jack: Gulp!

Akt 2>>

In Aven woods getting ready for the training>>>
Alan: Get ready Ginta. Stand over there. Gates of training, I summon u.
Two bronze gates suddenly appear on the grassy floor.
Ginta: ooh! What’s that?
Snow: it is a special Guardian Arm having teleportation abilities. These gates will take us to two different dimensions where u will be training under the guidance of two separate Guardian Arms.
Alan: Ginta, Snow step on the 1st door and Jack and Dor…
Dorothy: Wait a minute I’m not going with monkey boy. Ginta u must choose between us women.
Ginta: So much pressure.
Alan: We don’t have time. Click!
The doors suddenly open pulling Dorothy and Jack fall into one of them. Alan catches Dorothy’s last words as she falls… ALAN I’M GONNA GET U FOR THIS….
Ginta: Don’t lose hope Alan. I’ll train hard and I’ll come back as a new man, much more strong and worthy of the title of the savior of Mar.
Alan: (smiling) that’s exactly what Boss had said when he went into training using the “Gates of Training”. I guess they are related after all….

Akt 3>>>

In the training dimension>>>

Ginta: Where is this place? It looks like an ancient frozen city.
Snow: Welcome to Atlantis. Actually Alan froze this place because I used to secretly train here with intentions of harming… my step mom.
Ginta: So what are we waiting for? Snow u know how to train here. Summon this Guardian Arm u were talking about.
Snow: Naine! Help us.
As Snow calls out the guardian a sudden blizzard starts. Ice accumulates at the centre of the room to form a pristine figure of a girl. The ice shatters and from it immerges out a very beautiful girl with long blonde curls.

Naine: Hello! I’ll be guiding u in your short visit in Atlantis training ground.

Naine>>> She is one of the Guardian Arms Alan uses. Her figure is womanly and she possesses a highly sweet voice.

Ginta: Man she is so hot!
Snow: Did u just say something GINTA! (Raged)
Ginta: Nope! If she looks so glamorous. Don’t know how good the other Arm will look. Oh! I so envy Jack!

Meanwhile in the other dimension (A huge rain forest)>>

Axera: Welcome Jack Ill be your Guardian arm.
Jack: Ahh! She is so ugly.
Dorothy: That Snow. She has Ginti all to herself.

Axera>> She is the other training guardian Arm. She is dumb witted and looks like a cow with piggy tails having the body of a really fat woman.
(Did u notice that Ginta gets all the good girls and Dorothy is insecure of Snow but she doesn’t seem to realize that she’s got more girls to look out for…)

Meanwhile back at the Lestava castle>>>
Phantom: Sorry! Dear lady my minions couldn’t keep Snow under their vigilance for too long. But I promise we will…
Queen: Don’t worry yourself Phantom dear! Snow is a kid… It will be my pleasure to destroy her personally… after all it’s but a personal pique.
Loco: Phantom we failed u.
Phantom: Don’t worry I’ve better jobs for you to day. My minions get ready for the day has arrived. We shall declare WAR on Mar today, right now and all of u shall destroy Mar for the humiliation we had endured 6 yrs before.
Chess Pieces: Three cheers for Phantom. Hip! Hip! Hooray!
Halloween: But lord Alen was defeated. We don’t have place for losers in our cause. He should be punished…
Phantom: Halloween, every one deserves another chance.
Alen: Thank u my lord. Order me and I shall find and kill that outworlder as soon as u commands….
Phantom: No! I have better plans…
Alen: Your wish is my command.
Phantom: Find Alan and…. KILL HIM.
Meanwhile outside the training gates>>>
Alan: Be quick Ginta. I feel the dark forces around me. U are now the one and only hope we breed and Mar heaven is at the threshold of captivity….

Akt 4>>

The training ground>>>

Standing in front of a huge bronze wall...
Ginta: This is my first task.
Naine: Yes u must pulverize this but cracks won’t do. You must totally shatter this or try over and over again until this wall is destroyed.
Ginta: Woman are you nuts…

The same task was given to Jack. While Ginta had no luck Jack was sailing on the same boat.
Dorothy: How pathetic. He will never be able to destroy that wall unless…. Hey ape man take this…
Dorothy takes out a small crystal magical stone and gives it to Jack.
Put this stone in that Arm’s magical hole. It will let u use that things magical powers.
Jack: Where did u steal this from Dorothy?
Dorothy: U ungrateful orangutan. Boom!
She crashes a huge boulder on Jack’s head.
Anyway u train while I will take a little bath in the pond over there. Don’t u dare come peeking….

Back to Ginta’s dimension already 2 days have passed>> (time flies fast in Mar) >>>
Snow: What did I tell u about Baboa u fool? Weren’t u listening?
Ginta: I forgot. Sorry!
Snow: Arrgh! Baboa is a transformation Arm. It will transform according to what its master thinks. The four stones are memory stones. They will store whatever u think and Baboa will transform when u summon him.
Ginta: So I can imagine 4 times only.
Snow: That depends. If u think of something really powerful or complex then a stone shall only record one transformation. But be careful of what u choose for u can’t decide to delete them once they have been created.
Ginta: let’s think what can I ….. Aha! Got my first idea. I wish Baboa to change into…..
As Ginta uttered his words Baboa slowly wen’t into a gradual transformation. Slowly Baboa’s base merged with Ginta’s hand and finally Baboa transformed. On Ginta’s hand had formed a huge punching iron ball.
Ginta: Cool. Now I can destroy this wall.
Naine: I hope this will be as easy as Ginta thinks!
Ginta punches but manages to set some cracks on the huge wall.
Snow: It will take more than that to destroy that fortress.
Ginta: Hey wasn’t my punch powerful?
Naine: U still haven’t understood the logic behind using an Arm have u Ginta?
The power lies not the way u imagined it but how u work together as one.
Ginta & Baboa: One?
Naine: When u defeated the Ruffian brothers u had managed to use Baboa because of your determination. Both of u wished to see each other safe, protected because at that moment u were tied in a tapestry of friendship, your minds became one, your hearts became one because both of u fought for each other, for the same cause.
Ginta: Now I understand every thing. Although Baboa didn’t have the memory stones I harnessed a small amount of his power because we both wanted to protect each other.
Baboa: So BUDDY want to try doing this as one?
Ginta: This wall is going down…..

Akt 5>>>

War has been declared on Mar Heaven. Every village, town and cities are being ransacked. Smokes, flame and screams of dying people have filled the air. Magnificent buildings were destroyed. Cries for help echoed. Evil has been let loose. Chess Pieces ran across the globe killing, murdering for once who had rebelled died and ones who didn’t were left miserable. Women and babies were not spared. The 2nd Mar Battle was even Bloodier than the first. Very few Cross Guard who were left gathered again to save their families and ones they loved. But they were no match against this crushing force. They needed Alan; they prayed for some miracle that their Hero Boss will emerge from his grave to avenge his death. They asked for God’s help that the rumors of a new outworlder’s arrival was true. All that Mar Heaven stood for was slowly being destroyed and corrupted….

Training Dimensions>>>

Kaboom!.....

Ginta: Yes we have finally finished our task. The wall has been pulverized.
Snow: But it took u 180 DAYS!
Ginta: What! It has only been 3 Days. (Alarmed)
Naine: 3 Days on Earth is actually 180 Days in Mar.
Ginta: U mean these weren’t 3 Days they were 6 MONTHS! (Really alarmed)
Naine: It has been really pleasant to teach u Ginta-elda (respect). It’s time u returned. It took u only 180 days. U are a fast learner.
Ginta: U insane bitch. If u had told me about the time factor in Mar I would have tried to finish this earlier. Man I think my birthday’s over. And I was thinking I’ll celebrate it here in Mar. Sob!

Meanwhile back in Jack’s dimension>>>

….Earth Wave….
The ground shook and a sudden vigorous movement tore the Earth apart. The wall had collapsed.

Jack: Man this new attack I have learned is AWESOME!
Axera: Master Jack your training is complete prepare to go back…
Jack: Wait! I must call Dorothy….

Meanwhile >>>

The water was cold. The waterfall nearby was like music to Dorothy’s ears. Dorothy’s clothes lay on a rock, her ARMS glimmering in the sun light. Dorothy was enjoying her warm bath.
Dorothy: It’s so good too be in nature, in the state of nature. My body is maturing everyday. It’s so soothing to take out some time for myself. That ape Jack will not be around for sometime, ah! Peace at last.

From behind a rock
Jack: (drooling) should I interrupt her now? No it’s against my principles. Oops! I thinks she saw my foot.
Dorothy: Monkey boy what did I tell u about PEEKING.
….Boom….
Dorothy throws a huge boulder and it lands straight on Jack’s head.
Dorothy: Finally I can see Ginti baby!

Akt 6>>

Outside the training gates>>>
Alen: So we meet again Alan, the hero.
Alan: Shit! What is this fool doing here? If he guesses what I’m hiding Mar Heaven is doomed….
Alan uses his python Slash on Alan but Alan takes the blow and collapses on the ground. His Python slash looks different…..
Alen: Meet Python slash upgrades. Python Whip and Octopus. Why aren’t u fighting back old man? So the mighty Alan is as defenseless as a child. Makes it easy for me to kill u.
Alan: Hey! This fool has no clue why I’m not fighting back.
Alen: Oh! Now I see.
Alen notices the bronze doors on the ground.
Gates of training. So that’s where Ginta is now is he? Training to save Mar. Haa! Ha! Fool that’s a guardian Arm which means u can’t move around much. That’s why u can’t dodge my blows. Poor Alan. Now I can kill u and close the Gates of Training forever so that Ginta and his friends can never return. Two birds with one stone.
Alan: I must some how buy time for Ginta. So u think I’m using the gates of training….
Alen: Your little trick of keeping me tangled in words won’t work this time….. Python Slash
Sharp metallic tentacles shot out of Alen’s cloak. Suddenly one of the training gates opened and a human figure leapt out. The figure had a huge dagger conjoined with his hand. He used the dagger to deflect Alen’s swift attack.

…..Baboa Dagger….
Some of Alen’s tentacles fell off.
Ginta: (noticing Alan collapsed on the ground) Alen u jerk did u do this to Alan.
Alen: He was protecting your butt but he was no match for me.
Ginta: Alan was trying to protect us. He could have saved his life by escaping from the Guardian arm’s magical circle. But, then we would be trapped in the training dimension forever. He had faith in me. That is why he did not flee. He was ready to sacrifice his life for Mar Heaven, for me. Alen u…. I’ll destroy u if that’s the last thing I’ll do.
Immediately snow comes out of the gates and one of the gates vanish.
Snow: Don’t leave him Ginta.
Ginta: ….Baboa Punch….
Alen uses the tentacles to swiftly jump backwards and deflect the iron blow.
Alen: Ignorant fool! I’m Alen, master of speed. U can’t beat me with melee weapons.
Ginta: (smiling) Baboa transformation level 2.
Baboa BUBBLE SHOOTER……
Baboa immediately transforms into a perforated pistol and as soon as Ginta presses the shooter huge bubbles resembling Baboa shoots out like bullets.
Alen: Uh! I dodged it in time. Huh! These are ……… bubbles.
Oh ho ho! The great Baboa, the most feared Arm is used as a bubble producing machine. What an insult! …Pop! ....
….BOOM….
The bubbles suddenly explode and Alen blasts back due to the impact.

Ginta: Mighty master of speed fooled by simple deception. Those harmless looking bubbles explode whenever anyone touches them or dares to INSULT them.
Alan: This kids got a good imagination…. Just like boss. He created two melees as well as a long distance weapon keeping all the odds in mind…. Brilliant...

Pawn: Alen are u Ok! Let me take care of this.
(Pawns are the lowest members in the Chess Pieces).
Ginta: A pawn to sacrifice his life for his master. Brave!
Alen: No! Don’t do it! U can’t beat them. We have to call the other Chess Pieces.
Pawn: Anyone who dares to lay a finger on u will have to fight me… to the DEATH….

Akt 7>>>

Aven Woods>>>

Pawn: Die!

…..Earth wave and Nono beans combination attack….

The ground cracks open and huge vines come out, wraps the pawn and with a blow the pawn tumbles upon the ground.

Ginta: Jack???? It’s about time. Wow that attack was cool. U seems to have done some useful training in there.
Jack: (showing the victory sign) Yup!
Ginta: And it’s Dorothy!
Snow: Hi! JACK, Hi! Dorothy.

Alen: Ema are u hurt.
Ema: No, I’m fine.
Jack: Hey guys look that Pawn…. Was actually a woman. My first victory was against a woman. I’m so unmanly. Sob!
Snow: She fought to save the life of the one she loves. How romantic. Exactly how I always protect Ginta.
Dorothy: Excuse me u are not the one who saves Ginti baby. It’s me; I’m always the one….
Snow: As if….
Jack: Here they go again… I don’t understand why don’t those girls fight over me.
Snow & Dorothy: Shadup! Monkey boy.

Ema>> Age 17+. Class Pawn. She loved Alen from the times when he was also a pawn. But, even after he was promoted to Rook, Alen and Ema still loves each other.

Alen: How dare u hurt my fiancĂ©e? ….. Chess Pieces arrive…..
Alan: Make a run for it Ginta. Alen is trying to call more chess pieces.
Ginta: But there is no route of escape! We are surrounded.

….. Everybody here…. Come over here…

Jack: It’s Alviss and….
Baboa: ….Bela his fairy friend.
Alviss: Transportation Arm>> Carpet of the doons I summon u.
A golden carpet suddenly appeared near Alviss.
Snow: Look! It’s one of those flying carpet Arms. Hooray! Were saved.
Alen: you are not going anywhere….
But before Alen could complete his line Ginta and his friends had already made their escape on the magic carpet flying towards an unknown destination….

Akt 8>>

Over the sea of Zran>>>

Jack: Uff! That was a lucky break. Hey isn’t that Alviss. I don’t like that guy much (to know more refer back to the part Jack was turned into a chicken)
Ginta: How did u know that we are in trouble Alviss?
Alviss: Actually I was watching u guys from behind the trees….
Dorothy: WHAT? AND U DIDN’T COME TO HELP US?????? Bonk!
Alviss: Ouch that hurts!
Ginta: Typical Dorothy.
Jack: where are we going anyway?
Alviss: Dunno! I am trying to steer this thing to where ever we find land.
Snow: What u don’t even know where to go. Bonk!
Alviss: Ladies! STOP HITTING ON ME (more like hitting me).
Baboa: Hey where’s Alan?
Alviss: I didn’t see him when u guys mounted the carpet.
Ginta: What? U left Alan TO THE CHESS PIECES…. Bonk!
Alviss: Boo! Hoo! Hoo!

….I’m here fellas…
Edward: I’m back.
Ginta: It’s that TALKING DOG AGAIN!
Edward: Bonk! (Hitting Ginta) Don’t u ever listen to me? I was cursed remember with this stupid dog body. I kinda fainted after the battle and turned back into Snow’s dog again.
Ginta: Sheesh! This dumb dog can’t do anything but talk…
Edward: I’m Alan REMEMBER…. Mumble! Grumble!
Ginta: Stupid Alan. Did u have to turn back into that moronic dog when we need u the most?
Edward: It’s not my fault….
Snow: Only a holy ARM can negate the effect of this curse. Alan shall separate immediately from Edward’s body if we use a Holy Arm on him.
Bela: Yeah! But Holy Arms are not easily found these days because Darkness Arms are so popular these days…. Every body is following the Chess pieces trend.
Ginta: U protected me Alan. I’m going to separate u from that cursed body somehow.

Suddenly Arrows come flying from different directions. An arrow manages to rent a hole through the carpet.

Ginta: Aaaaaaaaaaaah! We are losing height!
Alviss: Every one jump off this carpet. I see land beneath us.
Jack: Are u insane.
Alviss: Jump!

…. Stop! Don’t fire any more arrows….they look defenseless.

Ginta and the others crash down on the ground. Everybody escapes with minor injuries like cuts and bruises (Don’t ask me how. It was like that in the manga. If I had done the manga I would have killed of someone like J.K Rowling randomly kills her characters). They were surrounded by nothing but rocks and sand and small desert cacti grew here and there.

Voices: Halt. Don’t dare trespass our lands.
Ginta: You insane people we were not invading your land!
Man: I’m the leader, me name is Naikashi. You chess Pieces are not welcome here.
Ginta: WE ARE NOT CHESS PIECES BUFOONS! YOU LOOK MORE LIKE CHESS PIECES YOURSELF.
Naikashi: We are not Chess Pieces. Don’t u see the logo on our dresses? WE ARE THE LUBERIANS.
Snow: Oh the Luberian Pirates.
Naikashi: We are NO pirates. We are the Luberian thieves. We don’t steal, our forefathers used too.
A man: But Naikashi what about the town you ordered us to loot yesterday.
Naikashi: Shadup! I had some reason to loot them (ruminating about these so called reasons)
Anyway mate we mean u know harm. Come to our village and drink some sura.

Naikashi>> Age 21+ Leader of the Luberian thieves (mentioned earlier in the story). He keeps long hair that almost covers his face only revealing his lips. Naikashi is a big flirt but a dignified warrior who uses Thunder Arms.

Akt 9>>

Moliha >>> the Luberian village.

Snow: Hick! This sura is wonderful.
Edward: No! Not again.
Alviss: You Naikashi chap! What about my carpet.
Naikashi: Enjoy this drink my friend. My men are working on your carpet.
A man: Naikashi should we go looting tonight.
Naikashi: Stop interrupting fools! ….Eh hey!
Baboa: Doesn’t steal eh!
Naikashi: Did that thing just SPOKE?
Ginta: His name is Baboa... He belonged to Phan…
Ginta stops talking seeing the others glaring at him.
Naikashi: Did u say Baboa? That thing it belonged to Phantom…the living Zombie. YOU HAVE GOT SOME EXPLANATIONS TO SAY?

And so Ginta narrates every detail of his journey in Mar to Naikashi and Naikashi listens amazed.

Naikashi: Fabulous tale.
Ginta: This is not a tale IT’S THE TRUTH….
A man: Hey Naikashi Dewey the prostitute has come to meet u. she says she has got some unfinished job….
Naikashi: eh! Heh! … Excuse me.
Baboa: Some morale this kid’s got.
Naikashi: I can wait if u pretty ladies pin me down on the floor and give me a smoochy woochie.
Snow & Dorothy: In your dreams porcupine.
Naikashi: Boo! Hoo! Sob! Moan! Whine!
A Luberian: Naikashi… it’s Emeril (the village near Moliha situated under Mt. Lethe >> How did I know this? Duh! The MAP!) She’s been attacked by those……. Wretched Chess Pieces.
Ginta: Finally time to kick some Chess butt. Guys buckle your seat belts we are taking a ride into Emeril.
Jack: We don’t have any seat belts Ginta?
Ginta: I WAS BEING IDIOMATIC DUNG HEAD!
Jack: No! You were being Idiotic!
Naikashi: If u allow me to join u then I want to come help u in your journey. I want to see all the places in Mar Heaven.
Dorothy: We are not going for a world tour u CREEP (special emphasis).
Ginta: What makes u think well take u with us…?
Snow: Nod! Nod!
Ginta: ….But don’t worry we will.
Naikashi: Oh! Thank u very much. Pssst! I’ll introduce u to Luberian belly dancers later.
Baboa: Ginta is such a moron! Luberian why do u want to come with us?
Naikashi: I have my own reasons. Actually I wan’t to take revenge against those Chess Pieces. They had killed my father.
Ginta: So he was a Cross Guard eh?
Naikashi: hell no! They were servants of the Pieces but they were killed because my dad, a baker hadn’t baked a chocolate cake for Phantom on his birthday.
Ginta: So is he our enemy or friend??????????? (Big question)
Naikashi: And also because…… one of them……. Peta……. Uses a blood sucking ARM killed my comrades……. I must avenge their….
Ginta: Oh!
Edward: The prophecy is true….
Alviss: What prophecy are u talking about??
Bela: The prophecy of… the seven dwarves.
Alviss: c’mon! this ain’t a fairy tale.
(To the Reader’s: The last line was pure Irony)
Bela: The prophecy states that Mar will always be entangled in a mesh of destructions, until the seven heroes will finally emerge to bring back peace to the holy lands of Mar Heaven.
Ginta: So U believe the 7 choosen are us.

….Ginta Kozabura….. outworlder
…..Snow Ai…… Fairy of the ice.
…..Dorothy Elma…. Woman with two faces.
…..Alviss Sakurada… cursed one.
…..Jack Tendo….. Strata dweller.
…..Alan Mizonua…. The Hero.
…..Naikashi Elm….. Tamer of thunder.

Edward: No Fair What about me?
Snow: silly Dog! You are Alan remember?
Edward: Oh!

Naikashi: Let’s make this prophecy true…..
Ginta: Next destination…Emeril.
But if we are the ones mentioned in the prophecy shouldn’t we give our team a name.
Edward: How about “Edward’s brilliant team of flirts, witches and fighters—who save Mar”. Oooh! That sounds so good.
Ginta: Nah that’s too flashy. How about>>> MAR, the team.
Everyone: Brilliant….
Akt 10>>

Lestava prison>>>

Alen: no please!
Halloween: Poor Alen. U have failed us twice. U are of no use to the Chess Pieces. If u had managed to call us there in time I would have lessened your punishment. But, U wanted all the glory for yourself…
Alen: Kill me if u want. But, please don’t harm Ema.
Halloween: How disgraceful. A rook in love with a pathetic Pawn. That woman will suffer for your failures and that shall be your deserved punishment.
Alen: Don’t dare touch Ema with your filthy hands! (threatening)
Halloween: Chess Pieces don’t have time for love. We are dedicated to the cause of taking over Mar Heaven… But, u will pay for forgetting our biggest principle.
Your LOVE SHALL PAY….

Meanwhile back in Lestava castle the chess pieces have met to decide their next plan>>>

Queen: This Ginta…. Is proving to be a nuisance for us. He is escaping every one of our traps…….
Phantom: This outworlder is interesting me every day. He is better than I expected, but Ah!... who will ever lose with a powerful weapon like Baboa under his control.
Orco: Master order me. Orco destroy Gintaa! Orco eat up Gintaa!
Phantom: No Orco, u continue destroying cities.
Orco: Orco happy!
Ephidel: Master I shall not fail u… order me my lord….
Phantom: No! Ephidel I know u desire to drink blood… like u drank Boss’s blood when he died, hot human blood, but this time I wish to meet him myself… Let’s see if he is a match with the LIVING ZOMBIE………………………………………

END
Star of Vol 3>>> Halloween>>> Class Knight. One of the most powerful member of the Chess Pieces. Halloween has a pumpkin for a head and always walks around tied to a plank by rusted iron chains, still he manages to walk.
He is short and talks in a husky tone and carries a candle around him always. A master of Darkness Arms, Halloween used one of his Arms called the Avianzho (Body bind) on Alan. Avianzho is a special weapon that curses someone to merge bodies with any thing that breathes near it. In Alan’s case it was Edward, Snow’s innocent and faithful dog….
